To The Editor
I have never in my media career defended the Walt Disney Company.
Having said that, I believe is that Disney has every right to
distribute or not distribute the new Michael Moore film. It is not up
to the New York Times to decide that they don't approve of why Disney
did what it did.. Had Disney precluded the Distribution of the film
by anyone else, that would not be "a good thing", but they did not do
that. Would it be improper to suggest that Moore's agent quoted
Eisners reasons for not releasing the film in order to create the
controversy it has to enhance the value if the film? An agent would
never do that, or would he?
